Scope
of Work

The Transporter shall arrange for transportation of coal from the Origin Point to the Delivery Point.

The Transporter is responsible for any intermediate handling (loading, unloading, stacking) if specified.

Only vehicles/trains/trucks in good condition, with valid licenses, insurance, etc., will be used.

Quality, Quantity
and Measurement

Coal must conform to agreed specifications regarding grade, size, moisture, ash, etc.

Measurement of coal for payment will be by weight (or volume converted to weight) at either or both ends (loading, unloading).

Provision for weighbridges or measurement devices; reconciliation if discrepancies.

& Unloading

Who loads/unloads (shipper, transporter, or third party).

Timing: free loading time, free unloading time, any demurrage or penalties for delays.

Safety & regulatory compliance during loading/unloading.
